Intended Stimulus

This partner workout is designed to help you push each other to complete. It’s also to let you know you’re never battling/fighting alone. It starts with heavy Power Cleans to push yourself and pick yourself up when something heavy is weighing you down, as in life. After the heavy Power Cleans, this is where the mental battle begins. Ensure you won’t fail but have to dig deep in order to push through. This WOD is intended for you and your partner to keep moving forward when you feel like you want to quit.

Tips and Strategy

Short quick sets so that you don’t redline. Think about splitting the reps up into something you and your partner can both handle and still be able to push without breaks. Consider this approach:

Power Cleans: You go, I go reps

Run: Push the pace, it’s supposed to be hard

Double-Unders: 25 reps you go, I go

Burpees: 10 reps you go, I go

Deadlifts: 5 reps you go, I go

Wall Ball Shots: 10-15 reps you go, I go

Scaling Options

Reduce the load to something that will challenge you but allow you to keep moving with minimal rest.
